Southeast Aero-Marine was formed in 1991 by Bob Bittner to provide yacht brokerage services, yacht management, maintenance and repair, electronics installation, and yacht delivery services.  Southeast Aero-Marine is a sole proprietorship located in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.

About Bob Bittner

Bob has extensive experience throughout the marine industry and is also an avid boater.  Bob holds a current 100-ton USCG Master certificate.  He owns and sails the classic sailing yacht Robert Alexandria.  Robert Alexandria is the only known remaining wooden Trumpy sailing yacht.

Bob was working for Lighthouse Boat Yard and Yacht Sales selling new Blackfin, Post, Buddy Davis, and Viking yachts when the US Boat Luxury Tax was implemented.  When the tax was implemented, new yacht sales virtually stopped and Lighthouse pulled out of the market.  At this time, Bob formed Southeast Aero-Marine and began to sell used boats in the Daytona Beach, FL area.

Bob gained vast experience operating large motor yachts performing deliveries for Lighthouse, and has continued to build his experience as Captain of many various vessels, including a 65' classic wooden motor-sailor, 50' Post sports fish, and 65' Viking motor yacht.  He has also had the hands-on experience of rebuilding several boats and yachts throughout his career.

Due to his extensive experience Bob has a working knowledge of boats and yachts that is seldom found by persons in a sales position.  He is not a sit-behind-the-desk broker, but is intimately familiar with the workings of the yachts he deals with.  There is a good chance that he has experience on the same type of  yacht or boat that you are looking to buy or sell.
